Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how DesignEaseHub (hereinafter "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data in accordance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French legislation. The French language version is the legally binding text.
1. Data Controller

2. Data Collected
We collect the following categories of personal data: - Identification and profile data: name, email, phone, postal address. For teams: company name, registration number (RCS/Kbis), mandatory insurance certificates (RC Pro and Garantie Decennale), diplomas or professional certifications. - Technical data: browsing data, IP address, system logs, browser type, hardware information needed for the 2D Editor and WebGL graphics. - Project data: floor plans, room dimensions, property photographs, inspiration images. We do NOT collect any "sensitive" data as defined by Article 9 of the GDPR.
3. Purposes and Legal Basis
- Contract performance (Art. 6-1-b GDPR): account management, 2D Editor features, order processing and subscriptions via Stripe. - Legitimate interest (Art. 6-1-f GDPR): maintenance, platform security, improvement of AI models using anonymized usage data.
4. Automated Processing and Artificial Intelligence (AI Act)
Under Art. 22 GDPR, no decision producing legal effects or significantly affecting the user is made solely on the basis of automated processing (including profiling): AI-generated visuals, plans, and suggestions are a design aid and remain subject to validation by the user and, where applicable, a qualified professional before any implementation. In accordance with the transparency obligations of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the "AI Act"), notably Article 50, all content (visual, plan, render) generated by the platform's AI systems is identified with the marking "Généré par IA" ("AI-generated") directly on the file or in the viewing interface. Project data (plans, photographs, layout criteria) processed by these systems may be used, in anonymized and aggregated form, to train and improve DesignEaseHub's AI models, on the basis of the legitimate interest described in 3.2 above.
5. Data Recipients and Sharing
To enable matching between clients and teams, client identification data, contacts, and projects may be shared with selected teams. Data is also shared with: - Payment provider Stripe - Hosting provider Contabo (EU servers) We do NOT sell or share data with third parties for marketing purposes without your express consent.
6. Data Retention
- Account data: until account deletion + 3 years - Project data, plans, and AI content: until account closure, then deleted within 30 days - Billing data: 10 years (legal requirement under the French Commercial Code)
7. Your Rights

8. Protection Against Telemarketing (Bloctel)
In accordance with Article L.221-34 of the French Consumer Code, you may register for free on the national telemarketing opt-out list Bloctel (www.bloctel.gouv.fr).
9. Cookies
The platform uses technical, analytics, and functional cookies. You can configure your choices via the consent banner displayed on your first visit.
10. Complaints to the Supervisory Authority
If you believe your data protection rights are not being respected, you may file a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés) at www.cnil.fr.
11. Data Security
We implement SSL/TLS encryption, pseudonymization, and server access security. Payment provider Stripe ensures PCI-DSS compliance.
12. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the platform at least 15 days before taking effect.
